Spray Tan Questions
Thankfully, spray tans have come a long way since that episode of Friends! If all pre and post care is followed, your spray tan will not be orange. I use color theory to ensure that your tan comes out natural, and not orange.
As long as all pre and post care is followed, your tan will not be streaky.
I always tell clients to choose a random tan if they are unsure, and we will discuss your best option during consultation. However, a vast majority of my clients get either The Reba (my sweat proof tan) or The 9-5 (my rapid, quick rinse tan)
This depends greatly on your pre and post care, as well as hormones. If perfect pre and post care is followed, and you have no hormone issues, you can expect up to 14 days of wear. Most of my clients notice their tan lasts for around 10 days.
For best results, book your tan 2-3 days before a big event. The 2nd and 3rd days are where your tan is at its darkest and most glowing. This also gives you time to make sure the cosmetic bronzers are completely rinsed off.
Please come in loose fitting, dark clothing. Long sleeves and long sweats are best for flawless results. Skin-to-skin contact and streaking can occur if shorts or dresses are worn. Wearing long sleeves and long pants ensures that there is no skin-to-skin contact. Flip flops or any other type of sandal are also recommended.
Whatever is most comfortable for you! I spray tan women completely naked, and require men to wear at least underwear for their appointment. If you prefer to wear underwear, a bra, etc, that is totally up to your discretion. I am comfortable with whatever you are comfortable with.
Makeup Questions
Although nothing can be 100% guaranteed, all of my expert techniques have been tested extensively throughout my 10 year makeup career. During your consultation, I ask a plethora of questions to make sure that I am using products that work best for your skin and its needs. My brides can expect 12+ hour wear, with most getting around 16 hours of wear.
I have a full kit that is stocked for all skin types, tones, and textures. I have everything covered. However, if you absolutely need to wear a certain product, feel free to bring it. It may or may not be used in your makeover, depending on the circumstances. However, if you’re a bride who has a specific lipstick you want to wear, it is recommended that you bring it in case I do not have it in my kit.
As a sensitive girl myself, I 100% understand. I have options in my kit that are great for sensitive skin, and can patch test any products prior to your makeover.
Absolutely! I use special techniques to make sure you are camera ready, but still look and feel like yourself.
Depending on the event, I do travel. I travel for wedding parties or any party over 4 people. I travel all over the United States. Within the metro Nashville area, travel is free. Outside of Nashville, an individual travel fee and accommodations will be discussed privately.
